Made on Long Island: The Holy Black Trading Company in Lindenhurst

The Holy Black Trading Company is a men's grooming line.
They innovate and manufacture traditional hairstyling products while running their barbershop on North Northwood Avenue in Lindenhurst. "My grandfather is a barber, my father is a barber, my mother is a hairdresser, so we've been in this industry,” says Stefan Gaudio, co-owner of Holy Black Barbershop.
Stefan and Matthew Gaudio are brothers from Lindenhurst. Their grandfather, Angelo, owned a barbershop in Brooklyn in the 1930s.
The brothers love antique shopping and traditional barber products. Using their grandfather's antique razors and reading up on old soap formulas, they started a men's grooming company in their mother's basement in 2013.
The brothers make their pomades, shaving creams, lotions and soaps at their warehouse down the block from the barbershop.
They have a large collection of different oil scents and are always experimenting with new ideas and formulas.
They have sold their product to over 500 barbershops nationwide.
