National, federal and local officials are all hoping to minimize the impact of swine flu this fall as children head back to school.
Glen Cove School District officials will limit skin-on-skin contact between students when kids return to class next week. They say they don?t want to take any chances since the swine flu vaccine isn?t available yet.
New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg announced Tuesday that he?s planning to offer free swine flu shots to all city schoolchildren.
Meanwhile in Washington, senior health officials are briefing President Barack Obama Tuesday on the latest efforts to prepare for a possible outbreak.
