An Oceanside man is under arrest after police say he stole a cat from a Nassau County driveway.

Detectives say Vincent Fredericks stole the cat on Brower Avenue on Feb. 9 around noon.

After an investigation, officers were able to track Fredericks down and arrest him.

The Turkish Angora cat named Toby was safely reunited with his owner.

Fredericks is being charged with petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.
