Police say a man is in ICE custody after leaving the scene of a crash in Uniondale.
According to police, Eduardo Lopez Lago got into an accident on Sunday at the intersection of Front Street and New Jersey Avenue. They say the 30-year-old ran off.
News 12 has been told the driver of the other vehicle was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
His two passengers were uninjured.
Following an investigation, Lopez Lago was arrested and found to be in the United States illegally.
