Police say a man is accused of attacking and killing another man in Bay Shore on Thursday night.

Police say James Rogers struck Mark Iacono multiple times during an altercation around 8:45 p.m. Thursday in a parking lot on Main Street.

Iacono, 65, of Patchogue, was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Rogers remained on the scene, where he was arrested.

Rogers, 66, was charged with manslaughter in the first degree.
