17h agoThe ball players on the St. James-Smithtown Little League team – the first from the town to win a New York State Championship – were welcomed home with a parade on Sunday.
Dozens gathered at Town Hall to celebrate the champs, who were presented with a Key to the Town.
The team was one win away from a trip to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA.
