Farmingville man charged with multiple lewd acts and inappropriate touching

Investigators say Franklin Portillo-Hernandez touched a woman at a Walmart on May 12.

A Farmingville man was arrested Saturday for committing multiple lewd acts in Hauppauge and touching a woman inappropriately in Islandia, according to police.

Investigators say Franklin Portillo-Hernandez, 26, touched a woman at a Walmart in Islandia on May 12.

He was also seen masturbating in a car outside a residence on Helen Marie Place in Hauppauge Thursday.

On Saturday afternoon, police say he was accused of masturbating in a car again while attempting to talk to a woman at a parking lot on Veterans Memorial Highway.

Portillo-Hernandez is charged with two counts of public lewdness and one count of forcible touching.

Police urge anyone with additional information to contact them at 631-854-8452.
