Two North Merrick men are facing charges for attempted arson, police say.
They say one of the suspects put propane tanks near the Nassau County Department of Social Services building in Uniondale. Police say the suspect then lit flares near the tanks and ran away. This all happened around 2 a.m. on Sept. 17, according to police.
Police arrested James Luca and Jayson Anthony Reyes in connection to the incident.
