News 12 has learned a man was shot in the stomach in Mastic Beach.

Police say the incident happened near Woodside Road and Goosebery Road around 10:30 p.m. Sunday.

The 53-year-old man has non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call them.
