Police: Selden man arrested for DWI in fatal crash

Police say Anthony Milano was driving westbound on Clearview Avenue just east of Blue Point Road in Farmingville when his vehicle struck a parked, unoccupied van and then a tree.

Police say a Selden man has been arrested for driving while intoxicated in a fatal crash.
Police say Anthony Milano was driving a 2018 Subaru westbound on Clearview Avenue just east of Blue Point Road in Farmingville around 2:15 a.m. when his vehicle struck a parked, unoccupied van and then a tree.
Police say Paige Swiecicki, 30, of East Patchogue, was pronounced dead at the scene. Swiecicki was seated in the rear of the vehicle.
Scott Johnson, 30, of Selden, the front seat passenger, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of an injury not considered life-threatening.
Milano, 31, was charged with DWI.
He was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment, and his arraignment date is pending due to medical treatment.
