Oak tree smashes into home, takes out power in Farmingville

A massive oak tree split in half in Farmingville and smashed into a home, taking out an electric transformer.  The huge tree came down without warning around 11:40 p.m. on Dogwood Avenue.  Powerlines

A massive oak tree split in half in Farmingville and smashed into a home, taking out an electric transformer. 
The huge tree came down without warning around 11:40 p.m. on Dogwood Avenue. 
Powerlines were pulled down and PSEG Long Island was called in. 
News 12 has learned the fallen tree landed in the attic and did not hurt anyone inside.
