It is Friday and time for another edition of Main Street, New Jersey this morning. We are in Edgewater News of New Jersey's Lauren de is highlighting businesses there. First up is a hair salon and what a great way to kick off the weekend, right? Get your hair done, right. Lauren Wash. I'm getting my hair washed right now. I'm pretending like I'm getting it done. Happy Friday, everyone. Tina Pearson, the Tina Pearson Salon. We were just playing around. She's like, I don't want you to sit there. You're not really getting your hair done. This is amazing. This fun. Thank you. This is a labor of love for sure. This is our second location. We were in Manhattan for some time and we are so happy to be in this community. I live here and we love it. A Manhattan salon right here in New Jersey in Edgewater right here. Love that. And you wanna highlight this situation that's going over here. It's steaming. So what's going on over here? So this is basically a facial for the hair. Yeah, we penetrate uh some good products into the hair um in this room right here. It's very relaxing and um a super hydrating treatment for textured hair in particular. Amazing. And you do all different types of hair too. Let's take everyone through this a lot. All different types of hair. Yes, we focus on curls. Those uh for so many years, curls were somewhat under served. You know, people didn't understand them. Um We found the curly girl really struggling to keep her hair hydrated and healthy. So that has been our focus but we literally do every texture. I mean Edgewater, Bergen County is a community where everyone lives. You know, we service people from all over the world. Um We teach classes, we help moms and dads to deal with uh their little ones, boys and girls with curly hair, they tend to, you know, not want mom and dad to touch it. So we help them with that detangling process which the steaming does. So we're right here on River Road. There's parking right on the corner. People tend to think there's no parking because this is such a busy street, but there is parking right on the corner. Yeah, this is our street too. By the way, it's a beautiful the tulips. I love this, you know, like the moody Zen section in the back. Everything in the front is the products. OK. Look at that. Yeah, this is our line of products and yeah, this is where we make it all happen. Yeah, this that's our motto. Beautiful hair doesn't just happen, Tina. This is so great for the community. Everyone needs someone like you in their community. It's amazing. Thank you. Thank you. Well, thank you for getting our Friday morning started with us. Thank you. Your hair looks great. All right, it's main street, New Jersey on a Friday. And this morning we had to Edgewater and like usual Lauren do is highlighting local businesses and Lauren, you're at a vet clinic and animal hospital right now. We are so I can guess what it is time to treat yourself. Look at this, we got free dog treats the bomb that we have. Valerie to doctor board. Doctor Weber. Thanks for having us this morning. Good morning. Just open like a few days ago. What's going on here? We are bond that we are your Edgewater team. This is uh bonds 47th clinic, um sixth New Jersey clinic to open. Um We are here for all your veterinary needs. Um We are urgent care, walk in. Um So when you have those last minute needs, we are here for you. Um we also do primary care, dental surgeries. Um So pretty much anything that you could need for your animal. We are here, even the ear cleanings and nails for everything, the basics. Um So whatever stuff we don't want to talk about at six o'clock. Yeah, so um we are here to give you guys anything we have an amazing staff um, to support anything you guys need for your animals. Well, she wish everyone what it looks like because this place is brand new. It is absolutely clean. This is amazing. Yeah, sure. Back and go see what's going on. We have a couple of exam rooms here too, so we have our awesome waiting area with comfortable couches. Um, we have kind of different rooms for different needs. Um, this is our cat room just because we wanted more areas for the cats to roam. Um, we will be putting actually a cat tree in here. Um, we also have feel away which is a spray, we spray in here to kind of calm the animals before they come in. Um, and then these are kind of our other rooms. We also have a lift, um, scale. So this way we don't have to pick up the big dogs. They can just go on and we can gently lift them up. We kind of aim for you're free here. So anything to decrease their stress and fear so they can have a really great experience and the owner feels good leaving too because they're gonna do some really scary things right. When you're going through, when you bring your dog here, your pet here for us, it's not scary but for an animal getting, you know, uh, a vaccination or blood taken, um, by somebody they don't know, can be a very frightening experience. We try to make that as, as good as possible. Um, for them, what's in this back room here, this is all, this is our team area. You get a sneak peek. Um, this is where we do all our treatments. Um, any blood taking vaccinations, um, brand new state of the art. It's absolutely incredible. We also have our own pharmacy so this way we can prescribe any medications that we need. Well, you know what, let's leave that as a tease because there's a couple of rooms that you want to leave and you want to show us. Yes, absolutely. We're going to show you that coming up. Here. We are on a Friday and it is time for main street, New Jersey this morning, we head north to Edgewater, New. So New Jersey's Lauren de has been checking out local businesses and right now she's at a vet clinic and animal hospital. Yeah, we are who would have thought we'd be here. Nick and sa we have Dr Weisberg here, Bond vet just opened like a few days ago. What do you offer here? Yeah, so it's great. So we're open Sunday to Friday right now. Um, we're offering our urgent care so your wound repairs, your vomiting, your diarrhea, um, your wellness appointments as well. And we also do surgery. So if you do need surgery the day of if it's an emergency surgery, we weren't planning on it. We're the place to come as well. So we do anything from your space and your neuters, but we also will do your soft tissue surgery. So your mass removals, if you have a fracture, we can do some splints as well. And then we also offer some dentistry stuff same day as well that we can also do if you have a pet who has like a really bad wound and you don't want to go to the, er, we are a place that we can also help you and transfer you overnight to somewhere else. If we can a comb, you guys overnight. And it's so nice to meet the doctor when you just open, you don't know who you're going into but you do have another doctor here too. Right. Yeah, I don't know where she went, she go, she went to go get her car or did she Dr B Dr Barts to the rescue? The this is so much fun. You know, it's funny the doctors can play like a good time and doctors are going to show us inside the. So we also do dry up to, you know, some pretty complex stuff. This is our dental suite. So state of the art, really great all year monitoring that you would see actually in a human hospital. Um, we do offer sometimes say day if it allows us to. So we are happy to help if we have an emergency case with the dental, we are happy to help anything that you need involving periodontal care. Ok. So dental surgery and then radiology across the way here, we have, we have to get here. I mean, we got the whole team here this morning so that the radiology room, what's going on in there. That kind of be scary, right. If you're a dog. Yeah, definitely. So we have a radiology suite here. Um, we have all of our badges to make sure we're all doing our safe proper attire as well. Um, so we have our vest to protect us from some of the beams. Um, we do have some ties in case some of the animals are a little jumpy. Um, but we will sedate them a lot of times just so we're not hurting them and they actually come out so much happier after we sedate them. Um, they wake up nice and refreshed, they don't even realize what happens. And a lot of times when we do search, it's because they're in a painful procedure. So, um by sedating them, we're not only helping them with their pain relief, but we're also making them a more comfortable experience. So when they do wake up, they don't even realize what happened. Um So it's super nice. Um Compared to us when we go into radiology, you hear all the banging, the cracking and then you, you're so super scared, you're claustrophobic. So with the pets, it's really easy, they wake up nice and comfortable bond that guys thank you for having us here. Thank you for coming close here. I love that. Thank you. It is Friday and another edition of Main Street, New Jersey this morning. We're heading to Edgewater. Yeah, Lauren's been checking out some businesses and Lauren, are you ready to play some golf? How's your golf game? Uh, well, you know what, maybe if I come here it'll be a whole lot better. This is Edge Golf. You got coffee here, which, by the way, you have coffee memberships too, which is really cool. Isaac, you're a golf pro, you're one of the instructors here, Han is on the, uh, on the, on, on the green right now. She's about to take a swing for us. So, what do you offer here? Um, we offer a lot of programs for beginner golfers, kids. Um, sometimes golf can be a little bit more intimidating. So if you wanna pick up the game and you don't wanna be so, you know, intimidated. Yeah, it's pretty a probably one of the best places to actually start. So, um, we got programs here. We got cameras that are already set up in our bays. Um, we got private rooms for even the events and parties. How many do you have here? We have six bays outside here with the cameras so that you can actually practice. And then we got four rooms that have simulated rounds that actually gives you, uh, different slopes moving plates. And also it includes games in there where we can actually keep the kids pretty occupied that, yeah, kids love that. Sean. You are a very good golfer. So, do you want to show us how it's done every time you hit this thing? It's always that excellent. I know he's a golf pro too. So yeah, he's got hit excellent every single time. What else do you expect? Look at that. Perfect. So where is he pretending to be? Where is this? Well, this is actually driving range mode. We didn't really put any golf courses in it, but now you got cameras popping up to record his swings. So you can actually, what's the benefit to this too? Because it goes to your phone, there's an app and everything. Yes, there's an app. You can actually download it. It actually, you can keep track of your own records. You know, we don't, we can always use a third eye and having some cameras every time you swing is probably gonna be helpful in a sentence. And one last question, what's the big benefit to golf? Because I know a lot of like it's a very social setting. So and it can be intimidating and you want to be involved. What is the benefit to, to golfing and and being good at it. Well, you don't have to be good at it. Exactly. Exactly. Like, I mean, you don't want to miss out on opportunities and I know a lot of people who are into businesses, they play golf at the end of the day. We have so many, uh, last minute, you know, he calls where? Ok, I gotta play with my boss this, this week. Now, I need some help. I know nothing about golf. Never played golf in my life. I'm not an athletic person. You see a lot of that and we're at hell, we're here to help. We got classes that are, are very affordable. Uh, we got PG instructors, PG members that are looking to help you guys know nonstop and coffee. Absolutely. And we're gonna do the kids section next. It is so cool. I cannot wait to show you. I, I'm blending out jacket the heels. I was not fully dressed for it. Isaac, you're the golf pro. Aidan is a golf pro too. I know. I choked under pressure. Listen, you're nervous to talk. I'm nervous to play golf. We're even, we're good. Yes, I understand. So I can take your job. You can't take mine. We're good job security. This is what it's all about. So, what's Aidan doing about golf? One that you failed to do? But you know, it's ok. He's working on it. Show us, show us that's done it away. Yeah, let's go. He's gonna do it. And these are kids gloves too, by the way. Yes. Yes. Do you think it's broken? I don't think so. I know there's no TNT he's hitting the TNT and it like literally smashes the entire thing. Ok? Yeah, the bomb try to hit a bomb for us. You could go, you could hit the ball. Here we go. Look at that smash, look at so you can break all these bricks. Ok? So the kids, you're gonna have a summer camp for the kids. You have a ladies' league, you got a lock up. Yes we do. We have a camp for kids and we got easy parking. So dropping them off and picking them up is actually so easy. We got a huge parking lot, you know, free of charge. Yes, he's doing great. Ok. So kids over here and then on this side and then we got the real simulator rounds. Now's doing it. He's also. Yes. So what do we have going on over here now? So now, like I said previously, we have to simulate a real golf course, which means now, now when you go on the golf course, you never really play from flat grounds all the time. So here we are. If you look at this plate, it's already moved because he's been on the rounds. Now, he's gonna hit the shot hopefully on the green. This is Pebble Beach, by the way, we're in Pebble beach. Look at that. We're really in Edgewater. This is edge golf. Does it say is it gonna say, oh, look and you have the cameras there you go. Yes, look at that. There you go. Bernie the plates move. Did you flatten it out? Ok. Can I, can I redeem myself redeem. Here we go. You need a, put a, put a put ready. Here we go. I'm redeeming. Here we go. Ready. Ready? Oh, too hard. It is time now for main street, New Jersey. And this morning we're in Edgewater. Yeah, Lauren do. She has been doing so many fun things all morning, a hair long. She checked out a veterinarian indoor golf and I think you earned yourself a margarita there. Lauren, I did, I actually was biking to make a margarita. So Nick and Sima. Yes, this is how you make a Margarita Manny the CEO here. I mean, Cinco de Mayo is coming up this week and you got a big weekend ahead. Yes, we do. We are getting ready for Cinco De Mayo. We have, you know, the four locations that we currently have. We get prepared. So you did a good job with a bi Thank you. It was a workout, but I hope you enjoy it. It was so much fun and we got the guaca mole. You can make it. We're watching us live on TV. She's gonna make the guacamole fresh for us. All the food fresh for us this morning that we make in this, in all our four locations is fresh, our sauces are made fresh, everything is made fresh. So this is our main dishes that we have one of our top sellers, which is the Moca Jette, the one in the middle which has shrimp chicken sausage. So everything we do here, we have our main cocktails too. We have margarita, just be a margarita. We know for margarita. So you know, something that we really known for. So Cinco de Mayo is coming, you guys wanna have fun, you know, welcome to come for any our locations. We're here all weekend or forever. Can you make a reservation or how does it work? Uh You know what it is? It gets too hectic is first come, first serve due to being Cinco De Mayo any other day, we do take reservations. But because Cinco De Mayo is just very, very crazy day. It was hard to manage. I wanna be in the whole ambience of all of this, all the colors, the lights, we, our restaurants are decorated immensely, very well. Uh You know, Fernando and his wife are the ones that, you know, the owner, all the owners are lined up here and the chefs too. I mean, this is so much fun. We, we had a big weekend coming up.
