It's iced tea made on Long Island! The Subtle Tea Company brews small batches in Ronkonkoma and it's shipped out everywhere.

"Subtle Tea is the only organic craft brewed iced tea on the island — we think it's important to taste tea first when you're drinking Iced tea,” says owner Kyle Chandler.

Chandler says the kettle is always hot! He started Subtle Tea 10 years ago.

Chandler has friends in the craft brewery business, that’s when the idea to open his own company started brewing. He wanted to come up with a drink that wasn't alcoholic.

From a dream into a reality... Subtle Tea is Chandler’s livelihood.

"I started testing in my living room— making gallons of tea at a time and there were nights where I was up at like 4 a.m." says Chandler.

The tea is brewed and bottled inside a 3,000 square foot facility in Ronkonkoma.

Chandler says there's a flavor for everyone.

"We have our sweetless, our tea monad, peach, raspberry, our honey green tea, honey black tea and then we have our lemonades," says Chandler.

The bottles are sold in over 400 stores across Long Island and the tri-state.
