A 4-month-old girl is in stable condition Friday after being rushed to the hospital after her father allegedly beat her.

Authorities say Sarah Dominic has broken bones and bleeding in her brain. Police say the child?s father Kevin Calender, 20, was playing a video game Thursday night when the baby started to cry. They say he became frustrated and then began shaking her.

According to authorities, Calender stopped and put Dominic down when she became unconscious and began bleeding from her nose. He then called 911, police say.

Calender was arrested for reckless assault of a child after police say hospital staff found the child?s conditions suspicious.

?She is beautiful and she is a happy baby and she doesn't deserve this,? the child?s grandmother Nancy says. ?She doesn't deserve this. She wasn't put on this earth to be a freaking punching bag.?
