Police say a Huntington Station man is in critical condition following a hit-and-run overnight in Dix Hills.
According to authorities, Amilar Welasquez was walking on the shoulder on West Hills Road around midnight when he was hit by a car.
Police say the driver did not stop after Welasquez was hit.
