Blue Point farm stand reports items stolen twice in a week

A crash involving a tractor-trailer closed a section of the Long Island Expressway in Nassau County early Thursday morning.

The incident happened around 3 a.m. and shut down all eastbound lanes of the expressway near Exit 48 in Plainview, according to police.

The cab of the truck was smashed in as a result of the collision.

It is not yet known if there were any injuries or how many total vehicles were involved.
