The wet and windy weather caused coastal flooding across Long Island's South Shore and even brought a tree down in Lindenhurst.

The tree brought wires and a pole down with it, and led to power outages for some residents.

"The wind was howling, I heard a large bang and crash and the lights dimmed,” Tony Trinceri told News 12.

He said he heard another boom and “heard the electricity pulsing.”

“You could hear it just zapping and frying,” Trinceri said.

No one was injured.
