Man fatally struck by tractor-trailer in North Bellport

A pedestrian was hit and killed by a tractor-trailer Thursday night in North Bellport.
Suffolk police say the man was on Station Road when the vehicle struck him around 10:30 p.m.
He was taken to NYU Langone Hospital – Suffolk in Patchogue and pronounced dead.
