Valley Stream man pleads guilty to DWI crash that killed his half-brother

Prosecutors say Joshua Pena was drunk, speeding and driving with a suspended license when he crashed into a guardrail and a tree on the Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway.

A Valley Stream man pleaded guilty to a June 2022 DWI crash that killed his half-brother.
Prosecutors say Joshua Pena was drunk, speeding and driving with a suspended license when he crashed into a guardrail and a tree on the Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway.
Pena's 23-year-old half-brother, Xavier Pena, was killed in the crash.
Joshua Pena faces up to 8 1/4 years in prison when he is sentenced.
