MTA police release photo of ‘armed and dangerous’ Lynbrook LIRR shooting suspect
MTA police have released a photo of a suspect wanted in connection to a shooting at the Lynbrook train station.
He is considered “armed and dangerous.”
According to police, a 17-year-old was shot at the station just before 8 p.m. Saturday when units were called about several gun shots at the train station.
Police told News 12 that no victim or shooter were found, but officers did find two shell casings.
Then less than an hour later, police say a 17-year-old walked into a hospital less than two miles away with a gunshot wound in the back of his shoulder.
According to the MTA, the victim told police he was shot at the Lynbrook train station. He had non-life-threatening injuries.
The Lynbrook Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the pictured suspect involved in the incident.
