A massive tree fell into a Yonkers backyard following the storms that swept through the region over the weekend.

The uprooted tree appears to have fallen from one property onto a neighboring yard on Ridge Drive, leaving branches tangled in overhead wires and debris scattered along the sidewalk.

Drone footage showed the size of the fallen tree and the area where it was ripped from the ground.

While the tree is not blocking any roadways, cleanup is expected to be a significant undertaking for homeowners.

The full extent of the damage remains unclear, though the tree appears to have fallen over a fence. A shed in the backyard may also have been impacted.

The fallen tree is one of many reported across Westchester County in the aftermath of the weekend storm. Saturated ground from days of heavy rain likely contributed to trees being uprooted throughout the area.

Cleanup efforts continue as crews work to remove debris and address storm damage.
