State police: Man seriously injured in I-95 hit-and-run has died

They say a white Hyundai Genesis was driving in the right lane, south of the Exit 34 entrance ramp, when it entered the right shoulder and hit Vinton Dawson without stopping.

A 61-year-old man who was struck by a driver and seriously injured while helping a disabled tractor-trailer on I-95 south in Milford early Saturday morning has died, state police say.
They say a white Hyundai Genesis was driving in the right lane, south of the Exit 34 entrance ramp, when it entered the right shoulder and hit Vinton Dawson without stopping.
The Hyundai would have right end damage and drove off, according to authorities.
Dawson was taken to Bridgeport Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
