A local Suffolk County business damaged in a fire two years ago is headed back home.

Sayville Running Company will reopen their original location on Aug. 15, the owners announced on social media Tuesday.

As News 12 reported, the store was one of several damaged in a devastating fire in the downtown area in October 2024.

Heavy wind caused the flames to spread from a Café Joelle, a restaurant that was being renovated, to Paper Doll Vintage clothing store, Boris’ Barber Shop, and beyond.

Sayville Running suffered considerable water and smoke damage on their second floor, as a result of the blaze.

The company makes their long-awaited return to 19 Main Street on Saturday at 11 a.m.

The business had been operating at a temporary warehouse location at 35 Overton Street in Sayville and also has a sister company – Smithtown Running Company.
