North Carolina man admits killing girlfriend's ex-boyfriend outside Stony Brook Yacht Club
Suffolk County prosecutors say Victor Panebianco pleaded guilty Tuesday to manslaughter for killing Christopher Millwater, of Selden. Millwater was the former boyfriend of Panebianco's girlfriend and co-defendant, Kacy Corso.

A North Carolina man has admitted to fatally stabbing his girlfriend's ex-boyfriend outside the Stony Brook Yacht Club last year.
Suffolk County prosecutors say Victor Panebianco pleaded guilty Tuesday to manslaughter for killing Christopher Millwater, of Selden. Millwater was the former boyfriend of Panebianco's girlfriend and co-defendant, Kacy Corso.
Police were called to the yacht club parking lot around 3:45 a.m. on Nov. 10, 2025, where they found Millwater unconscious with two stab wounds to the chest. He was taken to a hospital and later pronounced dead.
Prosecutors say surveillance video and witness accounts showed Millwater sitting in his vehicle when Panebianco and Corso pulled up in their vehicle.
When Panebianco approached him, Millwater tried to drive away, but prosecutors say Corso crashed her vehicle into her ex-boyfriend's car as he attempted to reach the parking lot exit.
Millwater then abandoned his vehicle and ran, but prosecutors say Panebianco chased him with a knife, caught up with him, threatened to kill him and repeatedly kicked him in the head until he lay motionless on the ground.
Panebianco and Corso then fled the state.
Investigators used cellphone records to determine Panebianco had arrived on Long Island from out of state about 90 minutes before the killing.
He was arrested in North Carolina on Nov. 19, 2025.
Panebianco is scheduled to be sentenced Sept. 22 and is expected to receive 25 years in prison followed by five-years of post release supervision.
Corso pleaded guilty to manslaughter in July and is expected to be sentenced Sept. 2 to seven years behind bars.
