Late mob boss John Gotti's grandson has surrendered himself into federal custody.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons confirms that Carmine G. Agnello entered their custody on Aug. 10. He is currently being held at the Federal Correction Institution in Fairton, New Jersey.
He was sentenced to 15 months in prison after admitting to stealing more than $1 million in pandemic relief funds.
As News 12 previously reported, a judge denied Agnello's third request to delay his prison sentence until next month to donate a kidney to his mother after prosecutors said there was no transplant surgery scheduled.
