Residents across Long Island stocked up on food in anticipation of heavy snow.
In Hauppauge, one resident filled up his shopping cart with essentials from ShopRite.
He said he had enough frozen goods, meats, vegetables and bird seed to last him about three days.
Snow is expected to fall until early Wednesday morning.
