A minivan crashed into a house and burst into flames in Suffolk County early Monday morning.
The fire then spread to the home on Deforest Road North in Dix Hills, fire officials say.
The location is right off the Northern State Parkway near Exit 42, where the incident caused traffic backups during the morning rush hour around 6 a.m.
The Dix Hills Fire Department responded to extinguish the flames with mutual aid from six neighboring departments.
Suffolk police tell News 12 there is no indication of any serious injury at this time.
