Three Long Island residents are facing charges for stealing COVID-19 relief funds meant for struggling small businesses, according to the Queens District Attorney’s Office.

Authorities say the defendants applied for state grants using fake business names.

They say Nadeem Sheikh, of New Hyde Park, stole $98,000. Tanvir Milon, of Farmingdale, allegedly stole $2 million.

Juned Khan, of Deer Park, was also accused of stealing $200,000.
