Two Northport men are facing unlawful assembly charges for a “fight club” gathering held Sunday in Melville.

Police say the event at the Walt Whitman Park was being advertised on social media. Around 70 people attended around 4:30 p.m.

19-year-old participants Finley McCloskey and Jake Zimilies were arrested at the scene.

Authorities say they are scheduled to appear in court in Islip at a later date.
