A controversial expansion plan for an Islamic Center in Nassau County was tabled again at a North Hempstead Town Board on Tuesday.
As News 12 has reported, the Hillside Islamic Center in New Hyde Park is looking to add another level and more than 30 additional parking spots.
However, neighbors in the area have complained that there is already overcrowding at the facility.
The proposed expansion has been tabled multiple times before Tuesday’s meeting.
