A Boy Scout troop that had its trailer stolen from a parking lot in Islip received a fully refurbished one on Thursday.
Boy Scout Troop 151's trailer was stolen from the parking lot of St. Marks last December.
It left the scouts without camping gear and memorabilia that had been passed down to the troop for generations.
Manorville Community Ambulance donated the trailer earlier this year, but it needed work.
County Legislator Flotteron introduced Scout Master Ty Bacon to Joseph Divilio, from Perfect Bodies Auto Body Shop in Bohemia.
Divilio and his team fully refurbished the trailer and included new safety measures and added details to make the trailer special.
