Police: Manorville man arrested for drag racing incident in West Babylon

Officers at the scene found several cars shutting down a section of traffic on Edison Avenue and allowing a motorcyclist to do burnouts in the street.

A 30-year-old man from Manorville is facing charges for a drag racing incident that took place Friday night in West Babylon.
Police say they responded to the scene after receiving multiple calls at around 10 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found several cars shutting down a section of traffic on Edison Avenue and allowing a motorcyclist to do burnouts in the street.
Police then arrested the driver, Antonio Mangogna, and towed away his bike. He has been charged with unlawful stunt behavior and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
