Police: Man fatally struck by car in Middle Island

A 56-year-old man was fatally struck by a car Friday night in Middle Island, according to police.
Authorities say Robert Trombly was hit by a Hyundai Sonata while crossing Middle Country Road.
He was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. The 19-year-old driver was not hurt.
Police say no arrests have been made.
