Police: Man found fatally shot in Patchogue

According to police, officers responded to a 911 report of an injured man on Maple Avenue around 3:05 a.m.

Police say a man was fatally shot to death in Patchogue early Thursday morning.
According to police, officers responded to a 911 call of a man injured in the courtyard of Maple Tree Apartments, located on Mable Avenue around 3:05 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers found Earl Foster, 52, with an apparent gunshot wound.
Foster, of Hempstead, was pronounced dead at the scene.
