A Hampton Bays man was accused of committing a lewd act Saturday near a movie theater, according to police.

Authorities say Michael Muesch-Gambino, 34, allegedly committed the act around 7:45 p.m. in an area off West Montauk Highway.

After running a records check, officers also discovered that he had an active warrant out of Southampton Town Justice Court for failing to appear on an unrelated charge.

Authorities say Gambino was then arrested, taken to police headquarters and held for arraignment.
