Two people were hospitalized following a crash Monday in Lawrence, police say.

It happened on Route 878, which is the road that connect the Belt Parkway with John F. Kennedy International Airport and the Atlantic Beach Bridge.

All northbound lanes between Rock Hall Road and Seagirt Boulevard were closed for hours. One is now reopen.

It is unclear what caused the crash.
