John DeBacker, vice president of Long Island Cat Kitten Solution, says the driver noticed screams from inside her car after a drive from Melville back to her home in Huntington.

Neighbors helped and attempted to free the 5-week-old kitten but were unable to reach the area where she was located.

DeBacker also tried to coax the kitten closer and still could not get her within reach.

A mechanic came to the scene and dismantled parts of the vehicle, allowing DeBacker to finally remove the animal.

One of the neighbors agreed to foster the kitten until she finds a permanent owner.

DeBacker says the neighbor’s children named her Cinnamon Roll.
