Police say two inmates have been charged in a string of hold-ups on Long Island.
According to police, Kevin Franklin, 20, and Dwight McCullough, 20, both of New Cassel, beat and robbed a 61-year-old Chinese food deliveryman with a baseball bat in New Cassel in July of 2015.
Police say as they were searching for the suspects, they tracked both down to a prison upstate and brought them back to Long Island to face charges.
After an investigation, police identified Franklin as the person involved in two other robberies in Nassau County. One of the robberies involved a taxi driver in May of 2015 and the robbery of another food deliveryman in Hicksville in June of 2015.
Franklin has been charged with three counts of robbery, McCullough with one count.
