A woman has been identified and arrested for grand larceny, police say.

Detectives arrested 28-year-old Nicole Ramirez after she surrendered herself to police earlier Monday morning.

According to detectives, the Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County in Roosevelt was contacted by who they believed to be a representative of a bank and gave out their account information. Police then saw 21 attempted wire transfers totaling over $1 million, of which just over $50,000 transferred out of their account.

Ramirez is expected to appear in court on Monday.
