The Patchogue Board of Trustees is expected to hold a rezoning vote this evening on a proposal to build a 109-room hotel in the village.
If the village board votes in favor of the rezoning, it would be a critical step toward knocking down a former bowling alley and building a five-story Hilton Hotel.
The proposed site is located at Division Street and West Avenue, across from the Patchogue Train Station and the Fire Island Ferry.
The Patchogue Village mayor tells News 12 that the public will have another opportunity to comment on the plan.
