Officials: Fire contained after reigniting at Tesla Science Center in Shoreham

Ridge and Sound Beach fire departments returned to the scene after the fire reignited Wednesday.

Suffolk fire officials say the fire at the Tesla Science Center in Shoreham is once again contained after it reignited Wednesday.
Ridge and Sound Beach fire departments returned to the scene to get the fire under control.
One firefighter was injured while battling the flames Tuesday night. The firefighter was taken to the hospital after falling at the Tesla Science Center.
The building dates back to 1901 and was the final standing laboratory of American inventor Nikola Tesla, who made major discoveries in the fields of electricity and wireless technology.
The center was undergoing extensive renovations.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
