Friday's thunderstorms caused a tree to fall onto a backyard shed in South Farmingdale, caving in its roof.
Hans Siewertsen, the homeowner, says that his snowblower was also damaged. He says that the toppled tree was sitting on state property and wasn’t home when it fell.
News 12 reached out to the Nassau County and the state and are waiting to hear back.
