A Suffolk dance teacher arrested for using two of his teen girl dancers in live sex video and phone chats is facing a new charge, according to officials.
Following an FBI investigation, Jordan Viscomi is now facing new child-related sex charges.
Viscomi, 30, was suspended from teaching at David Sanders Dance Dynamics in Oakdale immediately following the allegations.
Viscomi is facing a federal charge of sexual exploitation of a minor.
Earlier this month, Viscomi was arrested and arraigned in county court on multiple charges after a father of one of the two victims, ages 15 and 16, reported concerning behavior of the teacher to police.
Federal court documents shed light on the concerning behavior – alleging there were multiple sexually explicit FaceTime calls, as well as text messages sent.
One of the text messages sent read “take pic or something, lower the camera.”
Viscomi has maintained his innocence.
Vicsomi's attorney Steve Politi said,
“Jordan and I await the evidence that the Government believes is important to proving their case against him. When all the facts are heard we believe the picture that has been painted by both the state and federal prosecutors will look far different than is currently being suggested. Jordan has been an instructor for over 18 years and has worked with many dancers, male and female, without incident. He has an impeccable past and despite the Government actively seeking more potential complainants, through various media outlets, not a single one has come forward. Jordan has the full support of his family, friends and the community. He is loved by many people and that fact is not in dispute.”
