Police say there were minor injuries after a car crashed into Dunkin' Donuts during rush hour near the Syosset train station.
Andrew Young, from Oyster Bay, says he was standing feet from where a Chevy Blazer crashed through the building and into the counter where they serve ice cream.
"When the car first hit the wall, I thought it was maybe a bomb. I truly didn't know what this was," said Young.
Young says it took a few seconds to realize what happened.
"A few seconds later, that's when everyone was screaming, we came out and called 911," he said.
Police say the crash happened around 5:30 p.m. on Jackson Avenue in Syosset.
There is no word yet on what caused the crash.
People in nearby businesses and commuters who take the train say that crashes happen in the area often.
Police say a bystander was hit by with some glass and the driver was taken to the hospital.
