A group of missionaries are giving back to their community this week.

A team of 30 involved with the nonprofit United in Mission: Action Reach-out Ministry by Youth are providing free home repairs for seniors, low-income and disabled homeowners in the Milford area.

Projects include building wheelchair ramps, repairing porches and siding and painting homes and landscape.

The group will stay at the Mary Taylor Memorial United Methodist Church while working on the homes.

"This is a great way for them to give back in their community but also have a great time. So, they're learning skills like how to use a circular saw and how to use drills. They're also learning how to weed and paint. So they're all over the community just trying to help in the best way they can," says Kiren Coleman Campbell, a camp director for U.M. ARMY.
