Historic tanks rolled through Massapequa Park on Friday as residents gathered for an Independence Day armor parade celebrating America's 250th birthday.

Tanks drove down the streets alongside bands and community leaders. The historic vehicles are from the Museum of American Armor in Olde Bethpage.

"Tremendous outpouring of support from the residents and just the community itself. We have the most people lined up to march than ever before," said Danny Pearl, Massapequa Park's mayor.
