Former NYC officer and Marine reservist pleads not guilty to deadly DWI crash in Valley Stream

Prosecutors say Aaron Cooper was driving over 100 mph when he hit a utility pole and a tree in February.

A former New York City officer and Marine reservist has pleaded not guilty to a DWI crash that resulted in the death of his 22-year-old passenger in Valley Stream.
Prosecutors say Aaron Cooper was driving over 100 mph when he hit a utility pole and a tree in February. His 22-year-old passenger was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
Cooper is charged with manslaughter and DWI. If convicted, he faces up to 15 years in prison.
