A Patchogue man who crashed into a police car on Saturday night has been charged with DWI, according to police.
Police say a sedan driven by 25-year-old Josue Orellana Lucero collided with the vehicle around 11:45 p.m. at the intersection of Rider Avenue and Terry Street.
Two police officers were hospitalized with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
No one inside the sedan was hurt. Authorities say Lucero was arrested and is set to face a judge Sunday in Central Islip.
