AB: For every pie sold at one of the participating restaurants, $5 will be donated to the families affected by the September bus accident containing members of the Farmingdale High School band in Orange County.

Over 100 pizzerias across Long Island will be supporting the Farmingdale community on Wednesday.

For every pie sold at one of the participating restaurants, $5 will be donated to the families affected by the September bus accident containing members of the Farmingdale High School band in Orange County.

The owner of Phil's Pizzeria and Restaurant in Syosset says the day is about more than financial help.

"It's also a good thing for their spirit and mental health," says Anthony Laurino. "A lot of people that weren't injured saw some bad stuff and them seeing what strangers are going out and doing for them and their families, it's a step in the right direction for them and the healing process."
