Nassau County Executive Laura Curran is pushing for millions in new fees.

Curran's proposals seek $10 million in new fees, including increases on administrative fees on parking tickets and a mandatory program fee for distracted driver education programs.

Newsday says the proposal would also allow police to boot and tow vehicles cited for moving violations such as speeding.

Curran first introduced the revenue proposals in March, but the Republican legislative majority tabled it.
